Mervyn foundation’s primary focus has been transforming the lives of single mothers and their children especially the underprivileged and most vulnerable groups. Through our numerous programs we strive to increase access to educational materials where children are supported with books, pencils, pens and other scholastic materials termly. We also run a sponsorship program that’s helping orphaned and underprivileged children access education.
The aim for the GO BACK TO SCHOOL ACTIVITY is to increase access to educational materials which promotes active learning and acquisition of different life skills such as reading and writing. This also enables children living in extreme within the community to keep in school. With funding from our donors (Mervyn family) we were able to support over 600+children with scholastic materials for Term II 2024 which has greatly increased the number of school going children in different villages and communities in Kayunga.
